Ibanez TS9 NAM Model Pack

The Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer is one of the defining overdrive pedals in guitar history: tight low end, a focused midrange push, and just enough grit to make an amp feel more immediate and alive. This pack captures 20 settings spanning clean-ish level boosts through classic Tube Screamer drive and full-on saturated overdrive.

Use it to tighten a high-gain amp, push a clean or edge-of-breakup model into richer sustain, or add that familiar mid-forward lead voice without committing to a baked-in pedal setting.

The lower-gain captures work well as a traditional front-end boost: keep the pedal’s drive low, use the level control to hit the amp harder, and let the amp supply most of the distortion. Higher-drive models bring more of the TS9’s own compression, clipping, and vocal midrange character into the sound.

The more driven captures can also stand on their own into a clean amp or clean NAM profile for classic overdrive tones.

Use it your way

Place the model before your amp or amp capture, just as you would a physical Tube Screamer. Start with a lower-drive model for tightening and boosting; move upward through the pack when you want the pedal itself to supply more gain, compression, and midrange color.

Notes

These are pedal-only DI captures. Stack them in front of any amp NAM model in your chain - they pair especially well with my Laney GH100L and Mesa Dual Rectifier packs, both of which take boost pedals exceptionally well.

Because these captures preserve the natural behavior of the real pedal, different Gain/Level settings are intentionally recorded at their genuine relative levels. Please use your DAW or NAM's output controls to match loudness between presets to taste while keeping the underlying dynamics intact.
